Flavio Rio is the alter ego of Flavio Spampinato, Brussels-based singer-songwriter of Italian origins.
Later, in 2023, he will release his new EP, entitled ‘False Lights’. It includes the new single ‘Hold My Own’, out on Jan 27th. After a first album entitled 'Nascente' out in 2020 (Alfa Music/ Flavio Spampinato) inspired by Mediterranean jazz and Brazilian music, his coming back EP reveals a new soundscape made of groovy synth lines, unordinary pop atmospheres, and a sharp lyrical content. Overtly inspired by autobiographical themes and the contradictory world of today, Flavio’s upcoming EP is a hybrid picture of the troubled society we live in.
