The Rwandan Belgian, multifaceted artist views the art of performance and music as a healing process in which both, she and the listener, can truly come to their purest form.

By using her deep, powerful yet fragile voice as a universal instrument that has the ability to transform into different textures, Dushime tries to create a saturation of space: how does that space come at you, how does it sound when you stomp and the whole space screams back, a space where every step you take, thousands of people, stories march with you. A space created of sounds that generate light to connect one another. In the soundscape she creates, Dushime becomes a portal of stories, sounds and textures.
