Marylène Corro

Her strong sense of social justice initially led this former lawyer to advocate for refugees' voices before she found her own. Through her travels, and especially during her time exploring the vibrant Soul and Jazz jam sessions in New York, she decided to dedicate herself to what truly made her heart sing. This decision led her to study jazz at the Brussels Conservatory.

Drawing from a wealth of diverse musical influences and performing alongside some of Belgium’s finest musicians, Marylène delivers a blend of raw emotion and authenticity in her debut album, following her first EP released in 2020. Created between Chile and Belgium, the album was born from a serendipitous musical connection with Patricio Trujillo, a Chilean producer based in Santiago. This project allowed Marylène to reconnect with her roots, seamlessly blending English and Spanish in her songs.

This fusion album, tinged with pop, takes listeners off the beaten path, combining vulnerability with boldness, lightness with audacity, groove with a strong sense of purpose. It’s a surprising and unique sound that sparks reflection while leaving a smile on your face.

On stage, she is accompanied by her vibrant team: Carla Pusceddu on guitar, Léa Kadian on bass, and Hadrien Pierson on drums.
