Pyo

After a deep depression that drove Pyo into the darkest and most final thoughts a person can have, he started writing as a coping mechanism. Although outwardly vibrant and hyper, Pyo’s songs deal with themes of depression, existential dread, and pain. Through his vibrant and sincere energy, Pyo externalizes what he has kept inside for years—the unjustified shame of feeling like he would never be enough or amount to anything. On stage, he is described by the Belgian press as a “bouncing Duracell bunny,” taking the stage and immediately setting the room on fire with his fast post-punk sound. Joined by musicians Aidan Gibson and Simon Bouillon, the live experience becomes a liberating catharsis. He has proven this on stages such as Reflektor in Liège, Entrepôt in Arlon, Supersonic in Paris, Club FF in Seoul, Botanique in Brussels, and more.
