Lupo Spaccaro
Lupo Spaccaro is the solo project of Brussels-based multi-instrumentalist Pierre Spataro, founding member of Commander Spoon and a key figure in Belgium’s new jazz and electronic scene alongside acts such as ECHT!, Tukan and Lander & Adriaan. After numerous collaborations (including with Reinel Bakole and Kuna Maze), he now steps forward with a more personal musical statement.
Created between London, Amsterdam and Brussels, Lupo Spaccaro blends hip-hop, futuristic funk, electronic textures and cosmic jazz into an ever-evolving instrumental language. Shaped by Spataro’s Sicilian roots and reflections on duality and identity, the project unfolds as an introspective yet groove-driven universe, led by levitating saxophone lines.
De Beren Gieren/ Fuzzy Bears
Fuzzy Bears is the adventurous alter ego of the Belgian jazz trio De Beren Gieren, born from a fascination with modular synths and electronic soundscapes. What began as experimental sessions with vintage electronics at the Willem II Institute has grown into a bold expansion of the trio’s identity.
They composed ten tracks creating a world between dream and experiment, influenced by Cluster, Hiroshi Yoshimura, Brian Eno, and Mort Garson. On stage, this translates into a streamlined, immersive experience where jazz and electronics meet, fully reimagined for live performance.
Fuzzy Bears brings the studio’s energy and curiosity to the audience, while De Beren Gieren continue to dig deeper into their unique acoustic-electronic universe.
Lucid Lucia
In 2026, Lucid Lucia returns with a new studio album and an expanded line-up. DJ Grazzhoppa and trumpeter Seba Colson join the core band, bringing a fresh phase of cosmic jazz-funk, psychedelic world grooves, and leftfield electronica.
Live, the new formation promises an explosive experience, driven by top musicians who have performed with Selah Sue, Leon Bridges, Zap Mama, and more. The album will be released in April 2026 on Antwerp’s Rotkat label.
