BEX
BEX is the alt-pop project led by Belgian/American vocalist, songwriter, and producer Rebecca Driesmans. Her band features Brussels-based musicians Louise van den Heuvel on bass (Sonic Hug, STACE, Dishwasher_) and Victor Khaddaj on drums and electronics (Underwater Fsh).
Their debut EP The Kitchen was released in June 2024 on Polymoon. BEX presents a captivating blend of clever songwriting, colorful electronic textures, and warm vocals, landing somewhere between jazz and pop.
Compro Oro
Compro Oro pushes boundaries with their fifth album Buy The Dip (2022). The Ghent-based band, led by vibraphonist Wim Segers, blends jazz-funk, exotic percussion, guitar riffs, and electronic effects into a unique, eclectic sound.
From neo-noir western vibes to sunny pop and psychedelic global influences, each track showcases a musical identity that stands out in Belgium and far beyond.
NABOU
N∆BOU, the quartet led by Belgian trombonist and composer Nabou Claerhout, presents Indigo (2026), marking a new stage in their artistic journey. Together with Trui Amerlinck (double bass), Gijs Idema (guitar), and Daniel Jonkers (drums), the quartet crafts music that flows between introspection and groove, melancholy and playfulness, with Claerhout’s trombone as the leading voice.
Indigo is an album about transformation, renewal, and human connections, taking the listener on a rich and personal musical journey.
