GOOD BOY, ok, sold out Ronnie Scott's, Montreux - he does things his way and it shows.
Around his music, the artist creates a raw visual universe, marked by both provocation and youthful recklessness — a return to childhood not for comfort, but to expose contradictions. Vulnerability, impermanence and satire. His aesthetic embraces imperfection rather than trying to hide it.
On stage, daoud and his band bend the rules with a mix of understated lyricism and explosive energy. Since the release of GOOD BOY in 2024, which received widespread critical acclaim, they have played a series of sold-out shows and standout performances, from Ronnie Scott’s in London to the Montreux Jazz Festival, with a stop at Marciac along the way. At the same time, Daoud composes and produces for other artists, while never losing his personal approach — one that is becoming increasingly free and uncompromising.
