Barely 21 is IKRAAAN, but you wouldn't give her a second when you hear her. Sweet, raw and confrontingly honest, she puts her heart on the table and that seems to have hardened over the years. The singer from Mechelen, with one leg in trappy hip-hop and the other deep in dark r'n'b, makes something that has never been made before in this country. She sounds almost hypnotic on her few tracks that have already appeared on the surface, while carelessly disproving the cliché that this music cannot be sung in Dutch. The amazingly beautiful 'Reflection' is already a sign of its gigantic potential. On her upcoming EP 'Happy Pill', soon to be released, IKRAAN will undoubtedly meet these high expectations with a friendly smile.

MEYY is a Belgium based artist who tries to explore the edges of a place where r&b, neosoul, movement, art and sensuality meet. The lyrical component to her songs is just as imporant as the vibe and sentiment of the music itself.
