The debut album, Dragging the Needlework for the Kids at Uphole, earned the London quintet Index For Working Musik a cult status and was praised by critics for its post-industrial and gothic post-Velvet Underground psychedelia. Their latest album, When Direction Goes The Beam (Tough Love), builds on this foundation with powerful songs and a fresh sound driven by dark guitar drones, hypnotic cello tones, and interwoven vocal lines.
This autumn, the band will travel to mainland Europe for the first time, making their Belgian debut on the stage of Volta.

1taker is a Brussels-based trio playing stripped-down folk. In 2025, they self-released their debut EP 'Once Not Twice', followed by the single 'puppy eyes'; intimate DIY recordings straight from their living room.
