KAU is an instrumental project from Brussels featuring André Breidlid (drums), Matteo Genovese (bass) & Jan Janzen (keys). Inspired by jazz, they create a head-bobbing atmosphere with broken beats and heavy grooves. Using acoustic instruments, the trio stays true to an organic and rich sound, giving themselves the freedom for improvisation and spontaneity. With influences from the likes of BADBADNOTGOOD and Kamaal Williams, their music is original and bold. Their debut album will be released on September 22 on SDBAN
