LũpḁGangGang is a band that opts for a fine balance between instrumental and vocal, and between improvisation and sheet music. A band that skips between seeking and finding. It is best to experience this quest live, because the constant enthusiasm and indomitable energy they get from it, perhaps makes their search even more interesting than the result! Fresh, innovative, naughty and tons of attitude: that’s LũpḁGangGang.

While working on their debut album, LũpḁGangGang is soon to release another EP ‘Urban Detox’. With this EP, the band strives to showcase their wide range of influences, while manufacturing their own sound. Among these influences are Kamaal Williams, The Breathing Effect, STUFF., Black Midi... Both the EP and ALbum will be realeased through Sdban Ultra (N.E.W.S Records) (STUFF, Steiger, TaxiWars, De Beren Gieren).

LũpḁGangGang started out as a young jazz/funk cover band in 2017. The members all met each other at a jam session, while all still being in high school. Over time the band evolved into writing songs of their own. After e few singles, the band released their first EP ‘Stalingrad’ in 2020. The EP was a musical search for ‘middle ground’ between these four divergent young wolves. 

Mugger Hugger

They describe their music as the outcast child of Jazz rock and Punk disco. Think of the music of Joe Rogan, Kamala Harris or Amber Heard, among others. Their lineup also speaks volumes: think LũpḁGangGang without keys. Mugger Hugger has been writing songs and promotional lyrics with Chat GPT for years.
