TVOD
Brooklyn-based rockers TVOD stand out with emotional, sometimes juvenile lyrics, paired with driving, catchy songs that never fail to get a crowd moving/moshing.
Influenced by post-punk, egg punk and krautrock, TVOD effortlessly weave musical genres in a way that comes off seamlessly. “More than anything, their sound is engineered to make you move” (Creem Magazine).
The brainchild of singer-songwriter Tyler Wright, the project draws from personal and external inspirations like the nightlife/music scene, heartaches, World War II, the untimely death of a beloved pet fish, and so on.
TVOD’s vivid storytelling paints a gritty tongue-in-cheek picture of being a D.I.Y. artist grinding it out in NYC, complete with fabled tales about the degenerate lifestyle and all the good and the bad that comes with it.
Known for their raw, unapologetic and unpredictable stage performances, the 6-piece have extensively toured the US, Canada and Europe, performing at major festivals like SXSW, Hopscotch, Sled Island, and Concrete Jungle, all the while sharing the stage with acts like Warmduscher, Snõõper, Gustaf, Civic, and Soul Glo.
Gros Coeur
With GROS COEUR, it’s all heart—no fuss, no compromise. When it comes to music, the quartet hits the road hard and doesn't swallow any nonsense. Their thunderous debut, Gros Disque, crashed onto the scene in 2023. What followed was a whirlwind of over a hundred shows—explosive sonic feasts. From coffeehouse gigs to SMACs, from clubs to festivals, GROS COEUR has been forging its identity on stage, their favorite playground: today in France, the Netherlands, Canada, and Spain; tomorrow, the rest of the world. No fear.
As spring approaches, GROS COEUR also brings Sacrifice, a sweeping, sharp-edged track like Conan the Barbarian’s slightly kitschy sword. Still driven by the desire to keep full control over their output, Adrien took the reins again to mix this track. While the signature GROS COEUR sound remains, the choices here are bolder—especially in the vocals, more prominent and partly recorded live in a single studio take with multiple voices. For group cohesion, but mostly for the fun of it. The idea was to go straight to the point while keeping the raw live energy. At the heart of the track is a soaring, 70s-style interlude that sharply contrasts with the rest—highlighting the band’s love for bold sonic leaps. Sacrifice is a standalone banger that won’t appear on any album (or will it?). It’s a gift!
