Aiko Devriendt is a Belgian composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Brussels. With a background in jazz and classical music, he developed an exploratory approach to sound, working across music, film, theatre, dance and visual arts. His practice is particularly interested in the sounds and textures of instruments and everyday objects. He is also active as a producer and multi-instrumentalist in projects including Boogie Belgique, Catbug and Yong Yello, bringing together atmospheric textures, intimate rhythms and a wide range of instrumental colours.
