These artists have their permanent workspace under our roof.

At Volta, you will find over 20 studios, 5 of which are specially dedicated to artists who need their own space.
These spaces are offered to artists at a turning point in their career, where a permanent space is essential to support their artistic development and practice as smoothly and widely as possible.
At the moment, there are no openings for new House Artists. As soon as a space becomes available, it will be announced through an open call.

Casper Van De Velde
One of Belgium's highest acclaimed drummers Casper Van De Velde is known for his work with schntzl, Donder and Bombataz. His solo project 'Simba' is a collection of soothing, melodic songs in a cozy and dreamy world.

a z e r t y Klavierwerke
A z e r t y klavierwerke is the alias of Alan Van Rompuy (1994), a Royal Conservatory Antwerp Master graduate specialized in jazz piano, under which he creates and performs electronic music and transdisciplinary shows.

Noa Lee
Noa Lee is a Belgian indie-pop band, led by songwriter/singer/pianist Nina Kortekaas.

schntzl
The jazz duo SCHNTZL, consisting of pianist Hendrik Lasure and drummer Casper Van De Velde, combines jazz with electronics. Their minimalistic and filmic music reminds one of Philip Glass and GoGO Penguin, Pierre Bastien or Hudson Mohawke.

Aiko Devriendt
With a background in both jazz as classical music and a passion for the diverse and in-depth sounds of objects and instruments in particular, Aiko’s compositions and productions long for a connection to deeper relations to the matter at hand.

Whoman
A fusion of meandering keys and guitars, harmonic voices and dense grooves, Whoman is the result of progressive songwriting turned into indierock/pop and sings about love, nature and you.
