ECHT! is a Brussels-based instrumental quartet made up of Dorian Dumont on keyboards, Florent Jeunieaux on guitar, Martin Méreau on drums and Federico Pecoraro on bass. Drawing on their jazz backgrounds, they create a distinctive sound that brings together electronic music, hip-hop, trap, funk, footwork and futuristic jazz. Rather than relying on computers to reproduce electronic production techniques, ECHT! recreates them with real instruments, effects and live musical interaction. Their music combines the precision and energy of a DJ set with the organic feel of a live band.
