Ana Diaz

Ana Diaz is a Brussels-based singer, songwriter and composer of Spanish heritage. The granddaughter of Spanish immigrants, she grew up in Brussels in a family where Galician folklore and traditional songs played an important role. She later developed a background in jazz and, through Brussels’ vibrant music scene, discovered hip-hop, drum & bass, electronic music and other urban sounds.

Her musical world lies at the crossroads of soul, R&B, jazz, hip-hop, flamenco and afrobeat, with a strong connection to her Iberian roots. She writes and sings in several languages, including French, Spanish, Galician, English and Portuguese, turning her cultural diversity into a central part of her artistic identity.

Her songs draw from her own experiences and the stories of those around her. She explores themes such as love, inequality and personal experience through writing that is intimate, sensitive and socially conscious.

With her powerful voice and genre-fluid approach, Ana Diaz embodies the plural and diverse spirit of Brussels, where heritage, modernity and urban influences meet.
