CIAO KENNEDY

Ciao Kennedy is a Brussels-based band with a musical universe that is both electric, colourful and melancholic. Their music evokes the taste of a candy bursting in your mouth, the energy of a fairground and a certain nostalgia for childhood, while balancing tenderness with intensity.

Born from a childhood friendship, the five members of the band explored different musical horizons before developing their own distinctive sound. As part of the Brussels-based Magma collective, alongside groups such as TUKAN and Echt!, they create music at the crossroads of jazz, post-rock and electronic music.

Their debut EP, The Problem Is, already marked a clear move towards a bold and largely instrumental sound.

With Solarium, their debut album released in 2025 on the Sdban label, Ciao Kennedy takes this direction further. Guitars filled with post-rock effects meet hypnotic electronic beats and dense atmospheres, with each track creating its own sonic landscape.

Moving between light and darkness, softness and tension, Solarium offers an immersive listening experience that invites the listener to experience music through both emotion and sound. Ciao Kennedy has developed a distinctive universe within the Brussels scene, somewhere between the familiar and the unexpected.
