Echofarmer

echofarmer is the project of Brussels-based producer and musician Arne Nuyts. His music sits between experimental electronic music, post-dubstep and club-oriented sounds, combining off-kilter grooves, deep sub-basses and detailed sound design.

His approach brings together digital synthesizers, acoustic instruments and field recordings to create complex sonic worlds. Rather than simply building tracks, echofarmer focuses on creating immersive environments where rhythm, texture and sound interact.

His music moves between sharp, angular rhythms and softer, more atmospheric passages, with influences from jazz, breakbeats, ambient music and electronic club sounds. Improvisation and experimentation also play an important role in his work.

Originally developed through a live trio with bass and drums, the project gradually evolved towards a more electronic and digital setup, with the computer becoming a central part of the creative process.

echofarmer’s work explores the relationship between technology, nature and the physical qualities of digital sound. His music aims to make electronic textures feel organic and alive, creating detailed and constantly evolving sonic landscapes
