Ed Ozgar, the project of Brussels-based artist Victor Philippe, moves between psych-rock, psychedelic soul and groove, with a strong taste for vintage sounds. As a self-taught bassist and singer, he builds a warm and organic sound where rock, funk, disco and psychedelic pop come together.

His songs blend laid-back melodies, psychedelic-tinged guitars and groovy rhythms, while his lyrics explore emotions, doubts and the small absurdities of everyday life with a poetic and carefree touch. From In The Deep Blue to his EP Soft Static, Ed Ozgar continues to shape a distinctive DIY identity, equally at home in the intimacy of the studio and the energy of the live stage.
