Glass Museum

Glass Museum is a Brussels-based instrumental duo formed by pianist Antoine Flipo and drummer Martin Grégoire. Their music is built around the dialogue between piano and drums, combining modern jazz, electronic music and influences from rock.

Their musical world is shaped by melodies that evoke landscapes, syncopated rhythms and a strong focus on textures and atmosphere. The piano brings a melodic and luminous dimension, while the drums give their music a precise and organic energy.

Formed in 2016, the duo quickly gained attention after winning the Dour springboard competition, before developing their own identity through numerous concerts and several distinctions, including at the Concours Circuit final.

Their album Deux brings together six tracks recorded at Rubens Studio. The record draws from modern jazz, with influences from groups such as GoGo Penguin and BADBADNOTGOOD, while also incorporating electronic sounds inspired by artists such as Jon Hopkins and Floating Points.

Their compositions also reflect the musical backgrounds of both members: Antoine Flipo’s classical training and Martin Grégoire’s experience in rock and post-rock. These diverse influences give Glass Museum a distinctive identity somewhere between jazz, electronic music and contemporary instrumental music.

On stage, their music takes on a particularly lively dimension, leaving room for jazz improvisation and collaborations with other musicians. Glass Museum creates a sound world in which piano and drums constantly interact, moving between energy, melancholy and movement.
