Isaiah Silverstein is a Belgian-American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Brussels. He develops his solo music under the name Steinfeld, a project that grew out of his experience with different instruments, bands and ways of making music.

Before starting Steinfeld, Isaiah was involved with the Ghent-based indie band Sonders, where he played guitar and worked as a producer. With Steinfeld, he created a more personal space for his songwriting and production, allowing him to develop his own sound.

His music is intimate and melodic, drawing from indie folk while leaving room for more unusual sounds and arrangements. His influences include artists such as Andy Shauf, Mid-Air Thief and Adrianne Lenker.

Steinfeld’s music has a DIY approach and focuses on melody, atmosphere and songwriting rather than fitting into one specific genre. Isaiah brings together his experience as a multi-instrumentalist and producer with a personal and curious approach to music.
