KABAAL

KABAAL: the name of the “band” already tells you exactly what to expect from this album. In fact, it isn’t really a band at all, because KABAAL is the solo project of drummer Jakob Warmenbol. Still, the name rolls off the tongue a lot better.

Warmenbol is a fan of a hefty dose of noise, and that’s exactly what he delivers here. If you know him as the skins-tamer in Robbing Millions, Don Kapot or Under the Reefs Orchestra, then you should probably forget everything you’ve heard him do there—this is something completely different.
