Lo Bailly is a Belgian artist moving between spoken word, French chanson, rock and urban poetry. As a heir to the Beat Generation, he belongs to a new generation of artists who place words at the heart of their music, somewhere between storytelling, flow and song.

His writing explores emotions, vulnerability and the contradictions of everyday life through a poetic, melancholic and often understated lens. His voice and flow intertwine with electronic pulses, piano melodies and rock arrangements, creating a hybrid and distinctive sound.

After winning the Du F. dans le Texte competition in Brussels, he developed his artistic world through his debut EP Parades and later his album Prosaïque, praised for the strength of his writing and the sensitivity of his lyrics.

On stage, his songs take on a more direct and organic form, performed with a band. Somewhere between spoken word, rock and chanson, Lo Bailly creates a live experience that is poetic, raw and deeply human.
