Matteo De Vito is an Italian drummer, composer and songwriter based in Brussels. Music has been part of his life since childhood, and he started playing drums at the age of six. Over the years, he has developed a musical approach that moves between jazz, funk, groove, electronic music and other influences.

Based in Brussels, Matteo has been involved in several musical projects. He is part of C'ammafunk, a group exploring the meeting point between funk, jazz and electronic music, and he also plays drums with projects such as BLAST and Advantage Project.

Alongside his work as a drummer, Matteo also develops his own music under the name devidrums. His collaboration with Egyptian DJ and producer DJ Wah brings together live drums, electronic production and organic grooves. Their releases include Deep Fall and Lost in Ibiza.

Whether playing in a band, collaborating with other artists or working on his own productions, Matteo De Vito puts rhythm at the centre of his music. His work reflects a strong connection to groove while leaving room for different sounds, styles and ways of creating.
