Minla

Minla is a Belgian-based band formed by singer Mirte Leconte and trumpet player Marthe van Droogenbroeck. At the heart of their music are the voice and trumpet, creating a dreamy and atmospheric sound that moves between jazz, electronics and alternative pop.

Their music has a cinematic quality, combining delicate melodies, electronic textures and the distinctive sound of the trumpet and voice. Whether performing as a duo or with their full band, Minla creates an intimate and immersive musical experience.

The band was selected as a young talent at Dinant Jazz and released their debut EP as a quintet. They also became residents at Volta and reached the preliminary rounds of the international B-Jazz competition.

Minla has performed at numerous sold-out shows in Belgium, as well as in the Netherlands, Germany and South Korea. Their music continues to develop around the meeting point between jazz, electronic sounds and alternative pop, with a strong focus on atmosphere and storytelling.
