Mona Mio is a Brussels-based Belgian singer-songwriter whose music brings together soul, jazz, blues, funk and pop. Her sound combines warm grooves, brass and gospel-inspired harmonies with a voice that can be both soft and powerful.

Her music often explores personal and intimate subjects, including social anxiety, grief, emotional dependency and the complexity of human relationships. Rather than hiding these themes, Mona Mio uses songwriting as a way to express them openly and turn personal experiences into music.

Her musical background is closely connected to jazz. She began studying music at the Rimon School in Israel at the age of 21, before returning to Belgium and continuing her studies in jazz singing at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. She was also part of the seventh season of The Voice Belgique in 2017.

Through her project Mona Mio, she has developed a sound that sits between jazz and soul while keeping a strong sense of groove. Her music combines vulnerability with energy, creating a universe that feels personal, direct and expressive.
