Sam Sala is an Italian producer, composer and percussionist from the shores of Lake Como, now based in Brussels. His practice sits at the intersection of experimental electronic music, ambient and audiovisual creation, with a strongly organic approach to sound.

His work is built from lo-fi drones, field recordings and modulated percussive objects, shaped into atmospheric textures and complex rhythmic structures. Inspired by the natural landscapes around him, he pays close attention to sounds, materials and often imperceptible details within his environment.

His process brings together instinct, experimentation and composition, creating a dialogue between control and chance, the organic and the electronic. Through his sound and visual work, Sam Sala develops an immersive, dark and hypnotic language in which sound becomes a way of observing and transforming the world around him.
