The band’s name comes from a typo. The five members of Spout Big Space are from Schaerbeek:

  • Axel Winkel: vocals

  • Mathieu Leonard: guitar

  • Jacob Miller: bass

  • Arnaud Guichard: saxophone

  • Maxime Van Eerdewegh: drums

Axel and Mathieu have known each other since kindergarten. Jacob and Max met in a musical theater group. The band has gone through several drummers, including a pilot, a European civil servant, a mover, and a Macedonian percussionist. Arnaud "Guich" is the most recent addition (on saxophone). Axel’s father is the doctor for most of the band members.
